GENERAL SPECIFICATION OF QUALITY CONTROL FOR INSTALLATION OF PIPE BY HIDROMECHANIC SUNK FOR THE COLLECTOR INDECO II

EXCAVATION AND SUNK
PIPE

A.- EXCAVATION DIMENSION


The excavation will have enough dimension that allows the efficient displacement of the operations of having sunk so that it allows to give the enough space to place the pipe in all its external perimeter as here it indicates. The appropriate determination of the excavation diameter will be under the contractor's responsibility.

B.- SUNK PIPE.

The hydraulic jacks that are used will have enough capacity for push the pipe and shield through the floor. The operation of this pistons will have the appropriate place so that each one of them receives an uniform pressure.

The pipe to sink will be supported in a structure-guide, in order to be able to support and to guide the pipe according to the vertical and horizontal alignment of the project.

-The pipe during the execution of the work will sink of the end and dilute below preferably.

-The space understood between the external wall of the pipe and the floor, he/she will stay busy of bentonita Iodo or another type of lubricant during the operations of the excavation and sunk of the pipe, in order to reduce the friction and the possibility of the stagnation of the one sunk; as well as to avoid that the pipe undergoes an excessive load of push and it can be damaged.

-In case during the operations of having sunk, a tube section is damaged, the contractor will proceed to repair this damage like is indicated next:

(a) The smallest damages will repair in place.

(b) The pipe that is damaged severely, will be demolished in sections ring of 50 cm of longitude, subsequently of the one sunk corresponding; having the necessary care in order to not to alter the floor, pavements in the surface or adjacent structures..

-The displacement of the excavation by means of the shield being in a simultaneous way will should to the push of the pipe in all moment, for any reason you will dig previously to the application of the force of having sunk.

-The meetings of union of the pipe will be sealed tightly, by means of the use of rubber packing.

-The meetings of union of the pipe, they will quilt by means of a wooden ring that has the capacity to transmit the load of having sunk in an uniform way, in order to avoid that it is damaged the pipe or the meetings of union of the same one.

-In order to assure the termination of the sunk of the pipe between light-shaft and light-shaft, it will settle the number intermediate of stations having sunk necessary under the contractor's determination and under the strict responsibility of the same one.

CONTROL OF THE VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL ALIGNMENT

A.-EXECUTION CONTROL


-The dependence will indicate the location of the references of the line physically and of the level banks. The contractor will verify these references and level banks previously to the beginning of the work, and in the event of finding some error or discrepancy, this you/he/she will report it to the dependence, in order to clarify it.

-The contractor will execute the work according to the references and established level banks for the dependence

-The contractor will be completely responsible for the precision of the execution of the work, including the location of the structures, excavations, vertical and horizontal alignment of the pipe.

-The contractor will locate the control apparatuses for the guide of the tunnel in such a way that these they are not affected by some movement of the floor or for the vibrations that generates the team.

B.-ESTABLISHMENT OF THE FLOOR

-The contractor will foresee according to the project the vicinity of the location of structures, pavements and existent services. It will have the necessary cautions in order to avoid they are damaged or happen an establishment in them.

-In the event in that some sinking, the dependence is detected it will be able to order the temporary suspención of the work. Before proceeding to continue the work the contractor it will correct the causes in the method or in the team that caused this stablishment.

C.-LINE AND SLOPE

-The excavation and sunk has a permissible tolerance of 10 mm. in the slope and of 30 mm for each 30 mts.

-When the excavation is exceeded of these tolerances, the contractor will carry out the necessary corrections to be relocated inside the project.
